Placecards:

For my Bat Mitzvah party, we have made placecards out of old cardboard boxes so that we don't waste paper. We used unpressed bottle caps to write the table numbers in.

Votives:

One of the things that we are doing for my bat mitzvah is making votives for the tables at my bat mitzvah. We used old tin cans and cut designs in them with a plasma-cutter! (Thank you to Andrea for letting us use her plasma-cutter!)

Almost Forgot:

I almost forgot to explain the title of the whole blog!
My mom had the idea to make this green blog because we are making my bat mitzvah as green as possible and want more people to consider doing this as well! Also we know you probably have some good ideas we haven't thought of yet.

Later, I will post photos and captions (and maybe some videos) showing green stuff about my bat mitzvah! So that's explains the name and the creation story!

And just so you know, my posts may be kind of on-and-off because I have one month until my bat mitzvah and we are VERY busy! But after that, I will keep this blog going for everyone else! Just because my green bat mitzvah will be over, that doesn't mean that I will stop thinking green!
